CREAMY CUCUMBER SALAD

what says “Summertime!” more than a cool, crisp cucumber salad? in this Farm to Table recipe we’re taking a not-so-classic take on the traditional cuke salad. all of the ingredients can be purchased in the Market, too! So it’s a one stop shop. check out the recipe below.

 

RECIPE

8-10 pickles, peeled to your desire and sliced thin

1 red onion, thinly sliced

1 cup mayo

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup apple cider vinegar (with the Mother is best!)

salt, pepper, garlic powder and lots of dill (dried or fresh!)

HOW TO MAKE

  1. combine mayo, sour cream, AVC and sugar together in a large bowl, whisk together until the sugar dissolves.

  2. add in seasoning, adjust to your taste if needed

  3. add in sliced cucumbers and onions, mix really well.

  4. this recipe is best to marinate for at least a hour, but if you’re in a pinch you can enjoy it right away!
